Coach Matt LeLievre
Currently the CEO of M.C. Johnson Co., Inc. a local Lee County Medical Manufacturing & Distribution company. M.C. Johnson is a proud supporter of all the Friday Night Light Programs in addition to funding an Estero High Medical Scholarship for qualified graduating seniors. Coach Matt believes that the football program should be a servant based program, inclusive of Band, Dance, Cheer and ROTC. Without their support, Friday Nights would be stagnant!
Coach Matt was a 4 year starting quarterback for Naples High school in addition to playing basketball and track & field. Currently he enjoys participating in weightlifting and running triathlons. After receiving his secondary education at Florida Gulf Coast University he married his high school sweetheart, Jodie, they both have two beautiful daughters, Madison and Emma, attending EHS and participating in the Dance and Cheerleading programs.
Coach Matt is a volunteer strength & conditioning coach and is considered the Character Coach for both the J.V. and Varsity teams as well as the Coaching staff. FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has allowed Coach Matt to develop relationships with these young men both on and off the field as well as within his Youth Group. There’s a new generation of student athletes and with each new generation comes a new set of challenges; that’s where 3 Dimensional (3D) Coaching comes into play. His greatest passion within the program is speaking truth to the players, molding boys into men while also walking alongside each coach and each program within the “Friday Night Lights Experience”.
Coach Matt wanted to say a special thanks to his wife Jodie for her constant support as well as “Coach V” for his steadfast mentoring. C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S !!!!
